Kaiser Permanente held a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house this past weekend at its new medical office building in Wildomar, which is set to open to the public Tuesday.

“All of us at Kaiser Permanente are thrilled with the new addition of the Wildomar Trail Medical Offices,” Dr. Michael Neri, Jr., chief medical officer for Kaiser Permanente Riverside Service Area said. “Not only does it provide double the clinical office space and state-of-the-art equipment, more importantly it allows us to better serve our communities by adding more physicians, staff, and services.”

The three-story facility is more than double the size of Kaiser Permanente’s current clinic in Wildomar and will provide access to additional clinical services and specialty care such as allergy, dermatology, behavioral health, occupational medicine, primary care, vision essentials, imaging services like mammograms, and physical and speech therapy.

“Our new Wildomar Trail Medical Office Building is all about providing our patients and our communities with exceptional care and Kaiser Permanente growing with our community,” Bob Blair, chief administrative officer at Southern California Permanente Medical Group, said. “This is part of our work to expand our local specialty care to our south Riverside members because we’re passionate about keeping our communities healthy.”

Kaiser Permanente broke ground on the facility last March, following a ceremonial beam signing ceremony. Councilmember Joseph Morabito, then mayor, said the facility would not only create improvements for the road but also help spur development in the area and increase access to vital services.

“If some of those services can be right here in town, then we won’t have to drive,” he said. “It’s just right there for us, and that would be the same for many other residents of Wildomar and the local area and surrounding cities.”

Last year, Kaiser Permanente opened a second medical office building at its Murrieta campus and the Moreno Valley Medical Center was expanded to include a diagnostic and treatment center as well as a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.

More information about the facility can be found here on Kaiser Permanente’s website.
